At Ridgewood Community High School we process personal data about our pupils, parents, staff, governors, and visitors. We are committed to being fully transparent about how we collect, store, and safely use this information in strict accordance with the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR) and the Data Protection Act 2018.
Our Data Responsibilities
As a data controller, the school ensures all personal information is processed lawfully under strict privacy and cybersecurity standards. While we use data locally to support pupil learning, safety, and achievement tracking, we also share specific data with the Department for Education (DfE) on a statutory basis to underpin school funding and educational policy (such as the school census).
